AT&T Partners With Zywie To Offer Wireless Connectivity To ZywiePro

AT&T Internet Plans

The med-tech company, Zywie, and one of the best internet service providers in the country, AT&T, are joining hands to help physicians in fast diagnosis and treatment of patients who are suffering from cardiovascular diseases. In a recent announcement, both the companies confirmed that the telecom company would be offering their wireless connectivity for the cardiac remote monitoring solution of Zywie, which is popularly known as ZywiePro.

The officials from the companies also revealed that the monitoring device would run on the Control Center of AT&T. Reports from several sources indicate that Zywie and AT&T are planning to provide a highly secure accessible monitoring for the patients with cardiovascular disease.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is significantly transforming the healthcare industry of the country by steadily delivering valuable data in near real-time. The ZywiePro solution actually uses cloud and mobile technology to identify the patient’s cardiovascular arrhythmias. The detailed diagnostics of the cardiovascular health condition of the patient are then delivered to the doctor.

Steve Burger, who is the Area Vice President for Connected Health, Internet of Things Solutions at AT&T said that, “Network reliability is critical when wirelessly connecting medical and health devices. Zywie has entrusted us to provide the highly secure wireless connectivity needed to make remote monitoring possible.”

The VP of Sales, Zywie Inc., Emir Muhovic said, “Zywie is committed to transforming cardiac patient monitoring, making it easier for patients to be diagnosed properly, leading to more efficient care and reduced costs.”

High Speed Internet

ZywiePro is easy to use, flexible, convenient, and it serves Event, Holter, or Mobile Cardiac Telemetry in a single device. It is also capable of monitoring the activity of the heart for a maximum of 30 days and for a minimum of 24-hours. In addition to that, the device also captures the potential rhythm irregularities of the patient and then transmits them to the doctor through the AT&T network. The best internet service of AT&T will ensure that there are no delays while transmitting the details.

The COO and Founder of Zywie Inc., Alex Armstrong said, “We are constantly looking for ways to make the ZywiePro solution better and collaborating with AT&T has provided the level of confidence that we expect in transmitting data securely and being able to scale.” In fact, ZywiePro would effectively eliminate the need for patients to make multiple visits to the office to make adjustments to the enrollments.
