ESPN And SEC Network+ Added To Sling Orange Pack

SEC Network+

Sling TV has added SEC network and ESPN to their Orange services in a try to attract more cord cutters. SEC Network+ and ESPN 3 are offering Sling Orange users access to many live events including college basketball, football and many other NCAA Championships in the Sling TV app.

“Adding ESPN3 and SEC Network+ into our guide means sports fans now have access to some of the most intense athletic match-ups of the year in one place,” Roger Lynch, CEO of Sling TV, said in a press release. “With Sling TV, fans can sign-up for our service and begin watching the game within minutes and keep up with their favorite team all season long.”

SEC Network+ is a digital channel that offers additional live events in SEC Network and this allows users to switch between multiple SEC games that are telecasted simultaneously. As per the latest reports, the college football season of 2016 features more than eight hundred games and twenty conferences.

Access to WatchESPN.com and WatchESPN app are also available to all the subscribers of Sling Orange services at no additional charges. Subscribers can access the app or website from computers, tablets, smartphones, and other connected devices.

Sling TV offers two streaming services, namely Sling Blue and Sling Orange, which together offers more than hundred channels and programming. The programming content includes those from Disney/HBO (available in Sling Orange only), NBC (Sling Blue only), Fox (Sling Blue only), HBO, Pac 12 Networks, AMC, STARZ, A&E, Scripps, Turner, Viacom Univison, and EPIX.

ESPN 3

Cord cutting and cord cutter have become hot topic in cable TV world, especially among the sports networks like ESPN, as many cable TV subscribers are willing to drop their cable subscriptions in exchange for the latest over the top streaming services like Sling TV and for exclusive on demand content from providers like Netflix and Hulu.

Even the likes of DirecTV, AT&T, and Comcast are following the trend now, and looking forward to release their streaming services in the market soon. Apparently, it would be a tough game in the streaming arena as well after a couple of months.
