Mixed Martial Arts Drama ‘Kingdom’ Renewed For Season Three

AT&T Audience Network has just retained the rights to air the third season of the mixed marts arts drama ‘Kingdom’. Byron Balasco is the creator of this fan favorite TV show, which is produced by Endemol Shine Studios.

The series has been incredibly promising since the beginning, and has kept the fans eager for the third season. In fact, the immense success of the first two seasons of this TV show has forced the Audience Network to secure the rights for the next season. Christopher Long, senior VP, original content and production, AT&T said, “The success of season 2 of Kingdom proves how captivating this series is and how viewers have invested and connected with the characters lives.”

“Byron Balasco has been at the helm of this gritty mixed martial arts family drama since its inception and has showcased heart-wrenching topics that no other show on television has had the strength to touch. We couldn’t be happier to have Byron on for another season and have no doubt that he will create a compelling storyline that no one will forget,” he added.

The story of Kingdom revolves around two brothers, who are involved in combat sports; one of them is a retired MMA fighter who has transformed himself into a trainer. His struggles to keep his gym running, and to keep his family united, are depicted in an exceptional way in the show. Frank Grillo, Nick Jonas, Matt Lauria, Joanna Going, and Kiele Sanchez are the main cast of the show.

Endemol Shine International distributes the show internationally and it airs on the Audience Network on Wednesdays at 09:00 pm. AT&T Audience Network is available via live streaming as well as on DirecTV and U-Verse subscription.
