This incredible gesture was made by the telecom provider in order to support the under-served, non-traditional Tennessee community college students, who are preparing for jobs that require technology-based skills.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The donation made by the Telco will fund scholarships, which will help students to acquire their college degrees and to find a job gradually. The Columbia State president, Dr. Janet F. Smith said, \u201cSupport from the business community is so important as we work to advance higher education and create a workforce that is ready to meet the needs of Middle Tennessee. The programs this contribution will help fund gives our students the skills required to compete in today\u2019s technology based economy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The donation made by AT&amp;T is actually a part of the provider\u2019s $65,000 gift to the Tennessee Board of Regents.
