Cox<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> has come a bit more closer to the nationwide deployment of monthly data caps with this new move. Even thought, most of the Cox<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> customers in California region did have monthly caps, they were pretty much happy with the service. This is because the fastest internet provider, Cox<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> preferred not to overcharge them for exceeding the monthly data caps.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">That\u2019s not the case anymore, as the telecom giant has finally officially declared that they will be charging and additional amount of $10 for each extra block of 50 GB data once the customers exceed their monthly data cap. However, subscribers who have opted for the 1 Gbps \u201cGigablast\u201d service of Cox<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> before September 26, 2017, will get access to unlimited data plans at zero additional charges whereas all other Cox\u00ae customers in California will have a monthly data cap of 1 TB.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Even though Cox<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> subscribers in some other states of the country will be able to get access to unlimited monthly data by paying an extra amount of $50, this option is not yet available to Cox<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> customers in California. On the other hand, customers in Virginia, Rhode Island, and North Carolina who have subscribed to the internet service of Cox<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> currently have caps but they do not have to pay any sort of additional fee to the provider.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However, reports from several reliable sources claim that the telecom company will shortly begin to charge additional fees from these customers too once they cross their monthly data limit.
