Cox® Completes The Launch Of Panoramic WiFi

Cox Communications^®, who is the fastest internet provider in several parts of the country, recently announced that they have successfully completed the launch of their Panoramic WiFi to their entire nation. Panoramic WiFi is actually a premium-level whole-home WiFi service, with the base price set at just $9.99 a month.

Cox^® introduced Panoramic WiFi by the end of last year in regions such as Santa Barbara, Orange County, and San Diego. The telecom company decided up to wrap up the rollout of their service after introducing the service in Phoenix, Ariz, Tucson, and Las Vegas.

Panoramic WiFi service from Cox Communications^® will be centered on a router or modem with a DOCSIS 3.0 24/8 modem integrated with 24/dual-band 802.11ac WiFi. This will be also combined with access to My WiFi, 24/7 support, a customized WiFi installation, and a network management app for Android and iOS mobile devices.

Reports from several reliable sources also indicate that the telecom company will also be renting out WiFi extenders, which use MoCA 2.0 technology for just $4 each a month. In addition to that, Panoramic WiFi customers of Cox Communications^® will be also able to connect to over 500,000 hotspots that are presently part of a Cable WiFi roaming consortium, which includes Altice USA^®, Charter Communications^®, Comcast Corporation^®, and Cox Communications^®.

Cox^® touted their entire home WiFi service that used an “It’s wall-to-wall fast” tagline back in the month of February with a regionally run ad in San Diego during Super Bowl LI. It is reported that the latest announcement from Cox^® will help them to attract more customers to their latest Wi-Fi service.

With the move, Cox^® is joining several other internet providers and cable operators such as Frontier Communications^®, Midco^®, Atlantic Broadband^®, and Comcast^® that either have rolled out or are planning to launch whole-home WiFi platforms in several parts of the country.
