AT&T® Makes Considerable Investments In The Silicon Valley Network

AT&T®, one of the fastest internet providers in the US, has announced that it has made a considerable investment amounting to more than $450 million in both the wired and wireless networks of San Jose, Sunnyvale, and Santa Clara.

The telecom major has made these large-scale investments in the region over the span of the previous three years. With these investments, AT&T® expects in drastically improving the overall coverage, speed, reliability, and performance of the network that is designated for both residential and business customers.

By implementing these measures, AT&T® also seeks to enhance many of the vital services that provide support for public safety and first responders. In the previous year, AT&T® has finished major works such as capacity upgrades to about 1459 LTE, 45 LTE overlays, and about 23 latest cell sites in the regions of Northern California.

With this, the company has effectively enhances the overall capacity of the networks as well as in easily deploying about 45 new high speed internet connections to the area. At present, AT&T’s LTE network offers effective coverage for more than 400 million people across the country.

AT&T’s major investment into the Silicon Valley will immensely assist the large numbers of businesses operating in the area. Since most of the companies that are located in the Silicon Valley area are technology driven, AT&T’s latest continued investments will serve in keeping the networking infrastructure as modern and secure as possible. Moreover, this will provide them with super fast internet connectivity and best internet packages for both residential and enterprise needs, besides many other LTE services offered by the company.
