Dish Network

Recently, Dish Network had launched their streaming television service, Sling TV, on Apple TV boxes. The service was much welcomed by the users and just after a few weeks of launching the service, Sling TV has launched a new user interface for the Roku platform. As per the reports, the updates include “My TV”, which is the new home screen, where users can choose and pin favorite channels in the “My Channel” ribbon placed at the top of the screen.

My Channel ribbon at the top of the window offers one click access to your most watched channels. The My TV personalized home screen also features a “Continue Watching” ribbon, which helps you to rejoin shows. It also offers the option to add most watched series, events, shows, and movies to the “Favorites” ribbon in the user interface.

As per Sling executives, the latest user interface is aimed at helping users access their favorite shows more easily. The “Continue Watching” button helps the viewers to resume watching from the point where the user has left off. The latest interface also features a “Sports View” and “On Now” view. Where the latter allows you to display content based on category, like sports, lifestyle, etc., “Sports View” offers all the sports channels in the Dish Network channel list as mosaics in the same screen.
