If you are not a subscriber of satellite TV or cable then streaming services like Sling TV can be a good alternative. The operation of the service is same as that of other streaming services with live TV coverage on multiple channels. Recently, Sling has added several new channels to their lineup including BBC America. Occasional previews are also offered in Sling TV. College Sports network is also available on the service.
NFL Network is now added to the service and it carries many of the games in the season in addition to full time news. The station is launched and you may need to upgrade your package to avail the stations depending on the level of service that you get. Sling has now released the game schedule for the season. The season includes many big games like that of Steelers and Ravens, and Jets and Dolphins.
It is reported that most of the games will be available on Sling Blue even though some of the games will be broadcast via Twitter and some of the games will be available only on select markets. This means that you may not be able to watch all the games in your market. Sling says, “For broadcast networks not available on Sling TV, customers can supplement their Sling experience with an over-the-air antenna to enjoy that channel.”
If you do not have the Sling Blue service, you will need to get the package and this will cost you a few dollars. Sling has now released the full schedule of the games. No matter where you live, you will have access to all pre and post game analysis on the NFL Network. As Sling told earlier, for those broadcast networks that are not available on the Sling TV service, subscribers can supplement the experience by making use of an over the air antenna to watch the channel.
It seems that Sling is all prepared to welcome the NFL season and hopefully they will see more sign ups prior to the start of the season.
