Dish is all set to take another great decision to make its presence stronger in the US market. The satellite television giant announced lately that it was going to sign a long-term agreement with Willow TV International. According to the sources, the deal is to get the rights to telecast some of the extensive Cricket offerings in the US. However, Dish is mainly focusing on the rights to air the 2016ICC World Twenty20 events now.

At the moment, Willow TV is the only channel in USA that has got the right to telecast ICC events. Moreover, it is the official broadcast partner that the ICC has in the US. The first event going to be aired, after the Dish-Willow TV deal takes effect, will be the ICC World Twenty20 match, which is scheduled to begin on 8 March. Sling TV or Dish subscribers who are currently getting Willow TV in their respective Sling-Dish Network packages will be able to watch all the ICC events without paying any extra charges. They would also be able to get Live updates of events in their Dish Network channel list.

It is reported that both Dish Network and Sling will offer Willow TV Live in full HD once the deal is signed. Being the official partner of ICC, Willow TV will be covering all the major international cricketing events from countries like South Africa, West Indies, India, Pakistan, and Australia. With this new deal, Dish and Sling subscribers will be able to view all these events from the convenience of their home.

The deal is part of extension of the strategic relationship between Willow TV international and Sling-Dish Network. Cricket fans in America are waiting eagerly to watch international cricket matches Live, and in HD quality through their Dish Network subscription.

Sources close to Dish said that the company was also going to update the Dish Network channel list with details about all the upcoming international cricket events. This is the first time that a US satellite or cable service provider is signing up a deal with an international player like Willow TV.
